Generic USB Customization Options

  • Hot Stamping (embossing) - leather only: Hot stamping is dry printing method in which a heated die and foil are used to apply graphics to a part. Hot stamping is a process in which an engraved image, hot stamping die or type, is heated then forced down against a part with a marking foil sandwiched in between. Using foil printing is a very effective way to add security to your document. It cannot be duplicated by scanners or copiers.

  • Laser engraving - metal and wood only: Laser engraving is the practice of using lasers to engrave or mark an object. The technique can be very technical and complex, and often a computer system is used to drive the movements of the laser head.

  • Full Color Printing: Full color printing is CMYK+White process printing of full color images. For best results it is recommended to use wide printing surfaces.

  • Silk Screening: In Silk Screening an image is transferred to the printed surface by ink, which is pressed through a stenciled screen. This stencil is created by coating the "screen" with a light sensitive emulsion and then "contact printing" a film positive on the screen. The "development" of the screen causes the emulsion to be washed away in the areas that were exposed to light, leaving a porous area for the ink to flow though.
